Hey guys, So this weekend has been a very interesting and eventful one for me. On Friday night I went to the Pacific Theatre at G rove with the guy I was dating and two of his friends. I think we all forgot how much traffic there was going to be because of the Oscars but luckily I got there early enough unlike the guy I was going with and his friend who ended up walking into the movie theatre nearly forty five minutes late. The good thing was his other friend was already sitting in the movie theatre and had saved us seats so I went and sat with him while we waited for others. I felt a little bit like we were on an awkward tinder date or something since all I had was a photo of him which I was sent so that I could find him in the dark auditorium. After walking up and down the movie theatre steps looking for the seats I finally found him right in the middle. Hey guys, This weekend has been pretty crazy for me now but I've loved every minute of it. On Thursday night I went to the see the company production at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts of Othello and I have to admit I loved it. I usually love Shakespeare but having studied him for so long time in England I've become a little detached to it now whilst in LA. I often find it difficult to understand the language even though I have studied it for a while and when I don't understand things I automatically switch off and become disengaged, however, this was not the case with Othello . The actors made it so clear through their physicality and body language that I felt engrossed all the way through the two and a half hour show. Then on Friday I headed to Melrose with my friend from England to go to Leonardo DiCaprio's club Villa Lounge. Hello beautiful people, On Saturday night I decided to have a pre valentines date with my other single friend and went to see the romantic comedy  How To Be Single at the Pacific Theatre at the Grove in Los Angeles. The movie has an impressive cast list with actress Dakota Johnson   as the lead role Alice and Rebel Wilson playing the other lead role of Robin. The list of actors continues with appearance's from Leslie Mann, Damon Wayans Jr and Anders Holm . The movie  is directed by Christian Ditter and written by Liz Tuccillo , who also wrote the story He's Just Not That Into You. The story takes place in New York City and follows the life of Alice who is recently single and wants to find some adventure in her life as she hasn't been single for a long time. Hey everyone,  On Wednesday evening I went out for the evening with a friend in Hollywood. We went to the W Hotel for dinner before heading to the Pantages Theatre to watch Dirty Dancing . Walking into the theatre I was amazed by the décor of the place, it was absolutely beautiful. It was decorated with sky high ceilings with grand chandeliers hanging in every corner of the hall.  As I walked through the stalls in the auditorium to get my seat I noticed large gold statues by either side of the wall and many red plush seats. It was just my luck that I had been sat behind probably the tallest person in the whole theatre, but luckily the seats were quite close so I was able to manuover my head around him.  I had originally seen the west end version of D irty Dancing a few years back at the Piccadilly Theatre in London and was extremely disappointed so I was hoping that the Hollywood version would be much better.  The first thing that I...

Hey guys, I hope that you all had a good weekend and enjoying the rest of your week. So, on Monday night I went to the premiere and after party for the new movie  The Choice directed by Ross Katz. The red carpet event took place at the Arclight Cinema on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood.  It was a bit of a last minute invite so after rushing around like a headless chicken trying to get ready, I ended up ripping my dress. I was already running slightly behind, so this just added to my crazy rush. The red carpet was at six thirty just before the movie was due to start at seven thirty and I did not want to be late. After finally giving up on the broken zip and changing my dress completely, it was ten minutes past six and now I began to really panic that I was going to be late. Hey guys, I hope you're all having a great and not still feeling the Monday blues. After sharing my last dating adventures with you all, I have decided to share another little dating story with you. So, here goes. On Halloween last year, I went to a Frat party on USC Frat row and met this Persian guy who I spent most of the night chatting to. He seemed like a nice guy and was in his last year majoring in business. I should have probably seen the signs from the beginning as his costume was a shirtless Channing Tatum from Magic Mike, but we got along quite well and after all it was Hall0ween. I could see that he had a little bit of arrogance about him but it was nothing that I couldn't handle. After the Frat party, we spoke for about a week before he asked me out on a date. Hello my lovely readers, Today,  I am going to write about something a little different. I have decided to give a little dating advice based on an experience I had last weekend. As part of my new year's resolutions I decided to start a weekend fun-day. Since being here I haven't really been able to explore much of LA because I am always too busy doing school work or learning lines, and it's even more difficult when I don't have a car here (probably the thing I miss the most my poor little car, George Bush- and yes, this isn't a joke, my car is actually called George Bush).
