Guess Who's Back...?

Hey guys, 

So, after a few crazy months I am finally back. For anyone that hasn’t visited my blog before or has forgotten who I am after I fell off the face of the earth for a few months, I’m Chantal. I’m originally born and raised in Essex, close to London in England and moved to Los Angeles two years ago to pursue my career as an actor. Whilst living in the States I encountered a lot of crazy events, I’m not sure if this is down to the fact that I’m British, an actress or if I just attract drama but either way I though what better to follow my journey than with a blog, so here it is ‘Chantal’s Hollywood Adventures’. 

To recap I have previously been studying acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and on May 28^th I got to graduate with my fellow classmates at the Dolby Theatre (Where the Oscars take place). This was such a great honor and pretty exciting, especially as I got to have my mum there who flew in from London to watch me. This meant so much to me since she never got to watch me walk the stage at my graduation from drama school in London.

Now if you already know me you’d know that I’m probably the least smooth person on the planet and my graduation was no exception to this. After celebrating my graduation we decided to walk home since it was a lovely and warm evening. I was walking along in my floaty dress, feeling like a celebrity when all of a sudden out of nowhere a huge gush of wind headed straight for me and before I even had time to think it blew my dress up, right over my head. You’d think that was embarrassing enough right? Nope, I struggled for about five minutes trying to pull it down, but the wind was not giving up just yet. The worst part of it was I wasn’t even wearing good underwear. The whole street turn round watching me struggle to pull it down. I turn around to see my mother and my aunt hysterically laughing, watching on as my boyfriend and I try to savor any dignity I had left, which wasn't very much.  At least I won’t forget my graduate as I’m sure no one else on Hollywood Blvd will.

Anyway enough about my embarrassing moments, since graduation I have started a new job in the costume department, moved into a new apartment, created a vlog on YouTube and I have also recently become a new mommy myself. Ok, so my child is actually a fluffy four legged kitty that I adopted but she's still as cheeky as a regular baby. I recently created a new Instagram for my little bundle of cuteness so go follow little Lyla at @princess_lylakitty (yes I have become one crazy pet parents and I'm not ashamed of it 😝). 

As you can see things have been pretty busy for me which hasn't left much time for blogging, but don't worry I'm finally back and this time with some even more crazy adventures, so don’t forget to subscribe. New posts every week!
